Peter Burr _ Special Effect _ ACT
Peter Burr came to Canberra to present his performance "Special Effect" as part of his Australian tour with OtherFilm Collective just over a week ago (Tuesday 4th). The performance was inspired by Andrei Tarkovsky's 1979 film Stalker. Here is a photo from his Canberra performance. Also performing live on the night was Horse MacGyver and Danny Wild with an improv audio/visual set, and Danny Wild with a Super8/Tape loop/Digital destruction performance.

Playful Sound #1 _ Nov 23rd
The first Playful Sound was held last Friday evening at Smiths Bookstore in Canberra. Lovely improvised sounds were heard from Slow Loris, Cold House and Danny Wild. Zonk provided the visuals as well as some live computer drawing from Helani Laisk as part of Slow Loris's performance. The night was the beginning of a monthly night(hopefully). The next one is coming up on December 15th featuring King Ruby and Spartak, more on that later...
